Mid-Kent MIND Donation - Year 11

A spokesperson from Mid-Kent MIND had this to say about the recent donation made to the charity by Year 11: 

Long-term supporters make a huge difference to the work we can do on the ground here in Maidstone, and in Ashford and Swale. It is why we were delighted to receive another donation from Invicta Grammar School recently – this time from their Year 11 Prom.

The Invicta Team explained that the students had managed the budget for their Prom extremely carefully and therefore had decided to donate it to a local charity – picking Mid-Kent Mind as the benefactor.

We are hugely grateful to the students for choosing to give back to the community, and for supporting our work providing mental health provision in the local area. This generous donation will allow us to support more local young people who may benefit from early intervention work.
