It goes without saying that Invicta is, in itself, a community sharing the common goal of ensuring that all individuals flourish and fulfil their potential; that they are equipped and willing to succeed in a modern global society, whilst having respect for themselves, others and the environment. However, we recognise that our community does not solely comprise of our students, staff and parents. Much of a child’s life and education occurs outside the classroom. What happens before the school day starts and after it ends is just as important and impactful in the lives of our students as what happens during the traditional school day. This is why we consider community engagement and involvement to be such an important feature of our educational process. We also know that strong links with the community can help raise educational standards, close the achievement gap and provide a well-rounded educational experience for students. Furthermore, we believe that our students and staff have a great deal to offer our community and we are proud to work closely with a significant number of organisations, providers and charities, to the benefit of all.
