Alumni Afternoon Tea - Saturday 24, September 2023

On Saturday, 24 September we were delighted to welcome around 40 guests to our Autumn Alumni event. We were pleased to welcome past students from a variety of different years, many of the previous and existing staff who also studied at Invicta. Some of our guests had travelled a long way to attend the event, coming from as far afield as Ipswich, Birmingham and Portsmouth!

This enjoyable day included an afternoon tea, a group photo and an opportunity to tour the school and explore the changes to the site that have happened since they left.

A message from Mrs Julie Derrick, CEO.

On behalf of the staff, students and Trust board, I would like to thank you for attending our first Alumni Event on Friday 8 March 2013. It was lovely to see so many former students and members of staff enjoying the opportunity to meet with old friends; sharing memories of their time at Invicta Grammar School. We hope you enjoyed the tour of the school. Our current students all thoroughly enjoyed meeting with you and hearing about your memories. We would be thrilled if you will continue to share your memories with us as it is really helping us to further develop a complete history of Invicta Grammar School over the years. We look forward to meeting you again in the future.
