POP - Personal Opportunities Programme
At Invicta, we want all students to flourish and be well-equipped to succeed in a modern, global society.
On selected Wednesdays, our curriculum includes an afternoon of co-curricular activities. We recognise the importance of wider opportunities in helping students to broaden their experiences and believe that our extensive and exciting personal opportunities programme (POP) will enable this.
The programme helps students develop the attributes of well-rounded individuals who are independent, resilient, responsible and engaged in a range of interests. The huge range of activities on offer ensures that students’ curiosity and love of learning is encouraged; that the invaluable skills of teamwork, perseverance and confidence are developed, and, that tolerance, respect, integrity and dignity are fostered.
There are over 80 electives on offer within four main areas: creative skills; academic skills; professional skills and wellbeing activities. Some of this year's options include Yoga, Chess, a nature ramble, Coding, South Asian Appreciation, Crochet, Charity Work, Gardening, Football, Origami, Minecraft, Woodwork, and so many more!
