Eurovicta
Inspired by Eurovision, Eurovicta is a celebration of languages, internationalism and teamwork
Eurovicta at Invicta, now in its 10th year, is a vibrant tribute to language, culture, and internationalism where Year 7 students showcase their singing and dancing talents while exploring French and Spanish culture. Through teamwork, students create performances that push their limits and encourage healthy competition, fostering personal growth and development.
As they prepare, students bond within their forms, learning to work together and support one another. Eurovicta promotes a sense of belonging and fosters lasting memories that students carry with them throughout their time at Invicta, with many students in the upper years still able to remember the chorus of their chosen songs from Year 7!
The competition encourages students to embrace diversity and internationalism, fostering friendships and cultural understanding. It's a wonderful event that leaves a lasting impact on the school community, promoting unity and pride in shared achievements.
Eurovicta was infinitely more valuable than just the final performance. The lessons we have all learnt and bonds that have been developed are certain to last a lifetime.
