Ski Trip 2024 - Salzburg
We’re back from another incredible Invicta Ski Trip! This year we had a relatively easy 18-hour coach ride, which was a vast improvement from last year’s 52-hour journey. Upon arriving at Hüttau, Austria we quickly settled into our hotel, and soon after, we had our ski boots fitted and were raring to go. After a delicious dinner and a good night’s rest, we hit the slopes! Blue skies and a decent amount of snow greeted us in the morning, setting the stage for an exciting first day of skiing.
Unfortunately, high-speed winds forced us to cut short our skiing fun on the first two days. But, there was still plenty of excitement in store for us every evening. We enjoyed Mini Golf, Miss Pope’s Mega Fun Quiz, and several hours of sightseeing in Salzburg where the students indulged in delicious Mozart balls, ice cream, and explored the beautiful surroundings.
With milder winds on the horizon, we finally got the opportunity to head further up the mountain to the speed check zone, the fun slope, and the famous Donut House Restaurant. The following days were filled with skiing fun, and the students continued to improve their skills as they explored the local area, enjoying the views and the thrill of the snow.
We’re delighted that the students had a fantastic time, and the Invicta Ski Trip 2024 was another great success. With the stunning scenery, great company, and fantastic skiing conditions, it’s no surprise that everyone had a great time.
