Under 14 Girls Football - County Cup

Mr Salsbury sent this report:

The U14 Girls football team have progressed through two rounds of the County Cup football tournament.

On September 29, two goals from Grace in 9C saw Invicta triumph 2-1 away at Highworth Grammar. There were some strong performances and it was a game we certainly deserved to win.

On Tuesday, 11 October, we played host to Sir Roger Manwood’s school and saw them off 5-1. It was nice to have the goals shared out equally amongst the team with Aimee in 9G, Violet in 9G, Rosiein 9T, Grace in 9C and Ella in 9V all scoring.

This was another all round strong performance that now sees us progress to round 3 where we face Canterbury Academy at home, shortly after half term. Special thanks to Mr North for refereeing the game and well done so far girls on all of your hard work in getting us through to this point!
