IGS and SST World Cup

Miss Abbott sent this report:

On Monday, SST and IGS organised their very first mini football World Cup.

Five students from each form of Years 7, 8 and 9 joined together to form teams to compete in a “World Cup”. It was the first tournament that Invicta and SST have completed for multiple year groups, and it was a great success!

The girls all loved competing against each other, showing off their skills and we even saw some of them scoring their very first football goal – something I am sure they will remember for a very long time! The girls braved the cold English weather and gave it their all in every match. Well done to all involved!
