A-Level Results Day
Invicta is thrilled with how well their students have achieved this year – matching their incredible record-breaking 75% A*, A or B of all grades being achieved, which are the best in the history of the school.
Van Beales, Headteacher, commented: “I am extremely proud and excited about the wonderful futures for our students, given the outstanding examination results that they have achieved this year. Our mission is to give students the best life choices and this cohort of students will go places with these A level results. This is testament to the hard work of our fine young people who strives to be the best that they can be, and to the dedicated teachers who inspired and supported them. I am also grateful to the invaluable support of our parents. I am proud of our partnership which has greatly benefited our hard-working students.”
We do not underestimate the enormous challenges that this Year group faced and overcame, sitting their A levels exams without having experienced external exams at GCSE. Our students rose to the occasion and applied themselves fully to their studies, alongside taking up leadership positions within the school, leading extra and super-curricular opportunities and contributing to our school’s charitable work, raising nearly £30,000 for our chosen charities last year alone.
Nearly half of all grades were A and A* as Invicta students scored 266 A/A* grades out of the total 581 examination entries. Our students continuously astound us with their passion and flair in their work, with exceptional successes across the Arts, Languages, Humanities and STEM subjects.
We are also delighted to report that the following students have successfully secured Medicine places:
