Sports Day 2024

Our annual School Sports Day was a resounding success, filled with excitement, teamwork, and incredible performances. The entire school came together to celebrate sportsmanship and community spirit, ensuring it was a day to remember.
The day kicked off with a whole-school Danceathon, setting the energetic and enthusiastic tone for the events to come. Students and teachers both joined dancing to lively music and showcasing their best moves (shout out to Mr Moye for dancing basically the entire day!). The Danceathon was a fantastic way to warm up and get everyone in the spirit for the competitions ahead.
In the morning, students participated in games of rounders and benchball. Teams displayed impressive skills and sportsmanship, with everyone cheering each other on. It was heartening to see the camaraderie and teamwork between the forms.
The afternoon was dedicated to athletics, featuring a variety of track and field events. From sprints to long jumps, students gave their all, resulting in some truly incredible performances. The staff relay also took place with Mr Johnson bringing it home for his team.
Congratulations to our overall winners, Pankhurst! Their teamwork and outstanding performances throughout the day earned them the top spot.
A big thank you to all the staff and student helpers who helped make Sports Day a brilliant success! Well done everyone! A great day to start marking the end of another academic year.
