UCAS: About Invicta Grammar School
Invicta Grammar School is a selective school in Kent for girls with a mixed Sixth Form of around 400 students; about 75% are internal students and most new students come from local schools with approximately 45% of these being non-selective. Typically, 90-95% of our students progress to university at the end of Year 13. The school offers A level programmes of study in 29 subjects at Invicta. Students are also able to opt for a subject at a comprehensive school within our trust that offers 14 BTECs and 2 A level subjects not offered at Invicta. All students are required to follow three A level subjects, although a number will opt to take four, particularly talented mathematicians who study Further Maths. All A levels are completed within two years. Sixth Form students can opt to complete the EPQ qualification, but this is not compulsory. Students sit rigorous internal assessments at the end of Year 12; this data is used, on the most part, to formulate predicted grades.
