Kent Schools Swimming Championship - 2023

On Saturday, 14 January, 11 students were selected to represent the school in The Kent Schools Individual Swimming Championships. It has been a while since the school have entered this event, so it was great to see all the interest we had from students who train with clubs outside of school, especially from the younger years.

The students performed exceptionally and produced some fantastic results. Medals were awarded to Sasha in 8A for finishing 5th in the 100m Backstroke, Rosa in 7A for finishing 6th in the 100m Butterfly and Lyanna in 10C for finishing 5th in the 100m Backstroke. All the results on the day meant Invicta finished in overall 15th position out of the 29 schools that entered the competition.

A massive congratulations to all the students that competed at this event and hopefully we can build on this success at next year’s championship!
