Lego Maths Challenge

The Lego Maths challenge was a wonderful experience and I am so happy I got to participate.

We were in groups of three and I was with two other students in our class.

Our task was to design a house using Lego bricks, however there were a few rules: each block cost a certain amount of money and we had to stay within the budget of £200 to build the house. Each house also had to include two windows and one door.

We thought this was going to be difficult and it was, however I was grateful to have an amazing team with me throughout the challenge.

In the end my team (Naomi in 7I, Rebecca in 7I and myself) won and were delighted that our hard work paid off! As a prize we each received a packet of Oreo Bites which we throughly enjoyed.

Thank you to Mr Rzepka and the other staff who helped set up this challenge.
