Senior Debating Competition

Dr Millgate sent this report:

On Monday, 30 January, six teams of students took part in the Senior Debating Competition.

The teams were tasked with preparing and debating topics covering areas such as food transportation, whether the British police should carry guns and the impact the internet has had on the Arts.

All of our teams put forward strong arguments though, in the end, it was the team of Miriam in Frank 1, Roseanne in Colvin 2, and Sarah in Pankhurst 1 who came out on top.

Congratulations to all those who took part and a thank you to our staff who offered their support on the evening.
