What is the most challenging thing you have achieved so far?
One of the most challenging things I have achieved so far is my role as a Prefect as most of the process has been so out of my comfort zone. Especially talking in 7 separate Hustings assemblies to various age groups. However, this whole process has definitely built up my confidence, perseverance and resilience and being able to just look forward and enjoy the journey. I am glad I have managed to get the role whilst also building on various other skills alongside the other prefects.
Why did you want to become a Prefect?
Becoming Prefect gives me the chance to first-handedly express my ideas whilst also be able to collectively discuss and develop ideas, of not only the Senior Prefect team, but also ideas that any students at Invicta may have. In addition to this, being able to organise and participate in the behind the scenes of RAG Week, an event that I have always looked forward to take part in since Year 7. I hope I can make another memorable year for as many students here at Invicta!
What are your plans when you leave Invicta?
After Sixth Form, I aspire to pursue a career in either Medicine or Dentistry. This would mean another 5 or 6 years in university which I am looking forward to (for the most part), so that at the end I get a chance to really engage with a variety of people from various backgrounds.
And, finally, what special memories do you have of your time, so far, at Invicta?
One of my most special memories at Invicta is when me and my friends had finished our last GCSE exam and we celebrated after. It really reminded me of how time goes by so quickly and how hard we had worked over the past few months.
