Autumn Alumni Event 2023

On Saturday, 30 September we were delighted to welcome 55 guests to our Autumn Alumni event. It was fantastic to welcome past students from a variety of different years, including those who attended the school from 1952-2012 and many of the previous and existing staff who also studied at Invicta. Some of our guests had travelled a long way to attend the event, even coming from as far afield as Yorkshire!
This enjoyable day included an afternoon tea, group photo and an opportunity to tour the school and explore the changes to the site that have happened since they left many years ago. Another popular aspect of the day was the photo display of life at Invicta from Albion Place to the current site and year book table – these were definitely fuel for many of the conversations that followed.
Our visitors were really interested to speak to our Sixth Form Prefect Team and to catch up with people they had not spoken to for many years. They were also welcomed to the FIGS Fair, and several mentioned that they enjoyed the activities and helping to fundraise for Invicta once again.
We would like to encourage more of our alumni to attend events like this and would love to hear about the lives and careers that others have built since leaving us.
