Monday, 16 October saw our Year 9 and 10 Netball Teams compete in the Maidstone Schools Netball Tournament which was organised and hosted by Invicta. Eleven schools from the Maidstone area were involved which was a good turn out and meant that the teams had a brilliant opportunity to play in lots of mini matches and really work together as a team. It was great to see so many girls involved in sport, and it was a fantastic atmosphere. Our Year 10 team won 4 out of their 6 matches, drawing against Aylesford and losing by one goal to MGGS. They worked so well together and played better and better as the tournament went on.
Our Year 9 team competed exceptionally well, winning all of their matches!! Scoring 12 goals in just 8 minutes against St Simon Stock which was superb! A big well done to all the students involved in a cold but fun afternoon!
