Year 7 Football Tournament

On Wednesday, 24 January, the Invicta Year 7 team played a mini tournament against SST and Lenham school. It was decided that as SST and Invicta had lots of players to create a mixed team as well so there were four teams involved in the tournament. This allowed students to play in every game.

Invicta who were debuting their new kit started the night strong with a 6-0 victory against the combined team, before having a tough game and drawing 2-2 with SST.

Going into the final game to find out who would end the night on top, Invicta took on Lenham school and had a commanding 3-0 win. 

Everyone who took part should be proud of their performances, especially those who played in the joint team, to help ensure everyone had a good afternoon full of competitive play. 

With more tournaments coming up the girls should be proud of what they accomplished on the night and excited for what is to come.
