The Big Bang Science Competition - Finals

Mrs Wheeler and Miss Hollett sent this report: 

On Wednesday, 19 June, our four finalists visited the Big Bang Science Fair in Birmingham to showcase their projects. Students shared their innovations and ideas with students and scientists from all over the country, had chance to meet other finalists and were excellent ambassadors for our school. We are very excited to announce that:


- Taliah in 8S won the Junior Science Award and a prize of £500. 

- Betsy in 8C was awarded runner-up in the Junior Technology category with a prize of £200 and won the Civil Aviation Authority Future in Aviation award with a prize of £500.

We are exceptionally proud of all our finalists hard work and dedication to their projects and cannot wait to see how their projects evolve over time!
