World School Day 2 - Pot Noodles and Presentations

Today, it would be Invicta’s turn to present but before Evie, Michalina, Katie-Louise could get up in front of the delegates, there was the small matter of a visit to the Katsuura Mayor’s office. This was a very prestigious event and Katie Louise was chosen to represent Invicta.

While Katie was away. Michalina and Evie had the opportunity to take part in a traditional Mochitsuki preparation ceremony. They had to bash wet rice with wooden mallets while everyone took their photographs! Next followed an event all the students had been looking forward to – Cup Noodle tasting!! The Japanese students give the students a chop stick lesson but the Invicta Girls had already been practising. Not a noodle was dropped!

Once Katie had returned from the Mayor’s office, the girls made their presentation.

Mrs Brewster commented “I was very proud of our students, they were articulate, professional and clearly done their research. Again, they were true ambassadors of Invicta”.
