The Alan Turing Cryptography Competition Years 7-11
Can you, and your friends, unravel the Interactions of the Isolated Investigators?
Cryptographical techniques are used everywhere in modern everyday life. This competition, run by the University of Manchester, is aimed towards people who like breaking codes and solving ciphers.
Who can take part?
Secondary school children up to Year 11. You don't need to be a computer whizz or a mathematical genius — you just need to keep your wits about you and be good at solving problems!
What will you need to do?
Complete a series of online puzzles to become the Cryptography competition champion! This can either be done on your own, or in a team with your friends. There are 6 rounds in total, each chapter released 1-2 weeks apart up until March.
When does it start?
The first chapter is released on Monday, 16 January 2023.
Do I need to register?
There is no registration needed.
