Invicta Gratitude Tree
Mrs Hambley sent this report:
The practice of ‘daily gratitude’ has been shown to significantly improve mental health and wellbeing.
One of the most powerful ways to rewire your brain for more joy and less stress is to focus on gratitude.
Research suggests that giving thanks for the good things in our lives has a wide range of benefits, including improved psychological resilience, feelings of optimism and even boosting the immune system and quality of sleep.
As part of the Wellbeing Framework, the entire Invicta Community, students and staff, were invited to contribute notes of gratitude to this collaborative Art piece.
In total, nearly 2,000 gratitude tags have been created, tied and attached by students and staff from every corner of the school.
