Year 12 and 13 Photography Trip - God's Own Junkyard
A year 12 student sent this report:
For our Year 12 and 13 photography visit to London we began the day at ‘Gods Own Junkyard’, a museum that is filled with captivating neon signs that have been created purely for the purpose of art.
For me, this was the most exciting part of the trip as there was endless potential for new photographs.
We then continued our trip to the Centre of British Photography, where we were able to learn about how a range of photographers display and interpret different meanings through their work. This inspired me to challenge myself even more and take on this idea in my own project.
Overall, the trip allowed me to experiment and have fun with my photography as well as gain lots of new insights into how I can further develop my work.
Thank you to Miss Brown for organising the trip as well as the other staff members who came with us on the day.
