Isabella, 8G - The Day Celebration Day Competition

Isabella in 8G recently entered The Day’s Celebration Day writing competition, which challenged students of all ages to retell a story of courage which meant something to them.

Out of more than 350 entries, Isabella’s work stood out to the judges as truly outstanding, landing her the top spot in the age 11-13 category! Isabella’s retelling focused on the story of Rosa Parks and her courage to challenge the infamous divisions present in America during the 1950s. Congratulations Isabella, an outstanding piece of writing and an outstanding achievement!
