Leadership and Clubs and Societies Fairs - 2023
From Transition Prefect to Anti-Bullying, Library to Creative. There was certainly something on offer for everyone at the Leadership Fair this year when our students visited it on Wednesday, 20 September. Spending their lunchtimes perusing the stands, students were keen to submit applications for these highly sought after positions across the school. With the deadline for applications passing today, it will only be a short while after we begin the difficult process of selecting our student leaders for another academic year.
Tuesday lunchtime saw the official launch of this year’s clubs, societies, and academic hubs in the school hall. With over 60 clubs and hubs on offer, large crowds descended on the hall to sign up. This year sees the continuation of long running clubs, such as the debating clubs and medical hub, along with new offerings including anime club and dungeons and dragons club. Both events were a tremendous success and thanks should be given to Mrs Skelton and Dr Millgate for all of their hard work in making them possible.
