World Mental Health Day
On Tuesday, 10 October students and staff from across Invicta Grammar chose to wear yellow to mark World Mental Health Day and to help raise funds for YoungMinds.
The charity’s 'HelloYellow' campaign, now on its eighth consecutive year, wants to see a world where no young person feels alone with their mental health. It also raises valuable funds to support young people in the wider community. This year, thousands of students from across the UK joined in with the campaign and added their messages of support.
Over the past eight years, the campaign has helped to raise an incredible £1,872,308 and we are proud to have contributed even a small proportion of that to help such a wonderful organisation continue its valuable work.
If you, or anyone you know, is struggling with their own mental health resources and support can be found in school by speaking to a member of staff or online at Young Minds.
