Year 7 Planetarium Visit

Mr Rzepka sent this report: 

On Wednesday, 4 October, Year 7 students took part in a planetarium visit which included a presentation using props to explain how to navigate the night sky, explaining night and day, eclipses, phases of the moon and the gravitational forces of the moon on our very own planet Earth. 

Genuine NASA footage was shown throughout whilst explanations of planets and how the stars were formed from collapsing nebula played in the background - they were even treated to a model of the lunar rover. Overall, students and staff had a fantastic time.
