Favourite Book: I’ve never been able to pick a single favourite book, as my reading tastes are rather varied. However, “The Tattoo of Auschwitz” is a very poignant and thought-provoking tale. Additionally, I enjoy the works of Malorie Blackman, her storytelling has consistently captivated me. Lastly, the Harry Potter series is a collection of books I enjoy, having grown up reading them.
Favourite Film: Again, I find it difficult to choose a single favourite film, as my interests are quite diverse. Naturally, I enjoy the Harry Potter films, as they brilliantly bring the books to life. I’m also a fan of the Fast and Furious franchise, though I must admit that the newer films have taken high-speed action to increasingly over-the-top levels. I enjoy anything within the Marvel Universe.
Hobbies: I enjoy kickboxing, going for walks, reading, and baking.
Favourite Food: I enjoy most foods, I couldn’t pick one, but I do like Dairy Milk!
Favourite Holiday destination: It is difficult to choose! But Canada, Egypt and Italy would be my top 3, so far!
If you did not work in a school, what job would you like to do? I did want to be a doctor when I was younger! As I got older, I changed my mind and decided I wanted to work in education.
What is the most challenging thing you have achieved? Going through teacher training was much harder than expected!
Why did you decide to work in education? I have always worked in education in some way, I wanted to make students school experience better than mine was!
How have you found your first term at Invicta? It has been a little overwhelming, with learning so many new student names and getting to know how the school, but I have thoroughly enjoyed it, and everyone has made me feel very welcoming and helpful!
