Year 10 Gatwick Trip

Students in Year 10 explored different engineering sectors at Gatwick when we visited earlier this term. We had the opportunity to see how the shuttle service worked as well as following aspects of the airfield engineering including electronics and water management. Gatwick also provided a session about the apprenticeships that are available which was very informative for our students. The students had the opportunity to go onto the airfield itself and see how the engineering worked there. The highlight for many of them was definitely seeing the planes take off and land whilst we were in such close proximity to them.
