Creative Critics - Roseanne, Colvin 2

Miss Sayer sent this report: Roseanne in Colvin 2 has been shortlisted in the emagazine Creative Critics competition – one of only 11 shortlisted entries!

She had to read one of the Forward Prize nominated poems for this year and write her own poem in response, as well as providing a commentary explaining her process. Her poem was experimental, moving and incredibly thoughtful and her commentary showed a real understanding of how poetry works, with careful crafting at the heart of her work.

Roseanne is the first student we have ever had at Invicta whose submission has been shortlisted for this national competition, so it is a phenomenal achievement on her part!
