Leeds Castle Concert

Students from VIAT Secondary Schools were thrilled to be invited to perform a selection of festive music at Leeds Castle on Saturday, 3 December.

More than 300 students performed throughout the day, including The Invicta Choirs (Upper and Lower School), The Lenham School Choir, SST Maidstone School Choir and Valley Park Chamber Choir.

The students were excellent ambassadors for their respective schools, and came together brilliantly at the end of the day to perform together a selection of carols, including “Away In A Manger” and “O Little Town of Bethlehem.” The high standard of music was perfectly complimented by the beautiful setting; the 20ft Christmas Tree next to the choirs really made the day feel special.

Leeds Castle have already commented on how impressed they were with our students; we are delighted to have been invited back next year!

A big thank you to all staff and students involved, and to the parents for supporting this wonderful event.
