Year 10 Reverse Advent Calendars

Over the past few weeks, Year 10 students have been gathering items for their forms’ reverse advent calendar boxes which were sent to The Salvation Army on Wednesday, 14 December.

The boxes, which help support those in need over the Christmas period, ask students to open an advent calendar door each day and select someone to bring in the associated item to be added to their collective hamper.

We have all been throughly impressed with the efforts Year 10 have made to get these filled on time to go out to food banks ahead of the break. In fact, many of the boxes were overflowing with food and household items when we sent them off to be delivered to the charity group on Wednesday.

Thank you to all of our Year 10 Form Tutors who have worked so hard in organising the collection of these items and, of course, to all our students and parents who have donated items throughout December.
