Student from Invicta Grammar recently supported the opening night of the newest exhibition at Maidstone Museum. Poppy-Rose in Colvin 1 sent this report:
Last Thursday, members of the Maidstone Museum were invited to the MMF reception. The evening began with talks about the new archaeological exhibit, hosted by Victoria Barlow, the museum director. Then, the guests embarked on a trail throughout the museum, tasked with searching each exhibit for the answer to some rather tricky questions.
The MMF ambassadors were stationed in the exhibits, dressed as ghosts of the past, ready to help any struggling guests (and there were many!) or just enjoy watching intense debates between teams over the correct answers!
After completing the trail, everyone headed back to the start for refreshments of hot drinks and mince pies. A prize of chocolate coins was awarded to the winner of the trail, who managed to get a fantastic 11/15 answers correct! The evening was a grand success, and everyone who attended got to leave with a chocolate.
