Year 7 Aspire Evening - 2023

Mr Crowley and Mrs Williams would like to thank all of the Year 7 students and parents/guardians who attended our annual Aspire Event.
A short introduction to the evening in the main hall, including speeches from Ana in 7N and Louie in Roddick 2, led to a carousel of extra- and super- curricular activities in the Orchard rooms.
Some of the most popular activities were drawing faces without looking, setting up a profitable cafe business and guessing where various exotic images could be located around the world!
We are also very grateful to our sixth form students who supported the event, introducing the Year 7 students to the activities and enthusiastically talking about their studies throughout the school. These students are excellent role models for the younger members of our school community, and were outstanding ambassadors for their subjects.
The Aspire event has continued all week, with Aspire activities being set in the place of normal subject homework.
We hope our students continue to explore the Aspire Portal and use this to broaden their experience of their school subjects.
