Invicta Speaks 2023 - Final

On Monday, 6 February we held the finals of the Invicta Challenge Speaking Competition, or as it is affectionately known ‘Invicta Speaks’. 

This time, all six of our finalists spoke on the topic of food with talks varying from the importance of eating as a family, the food of different cultures and why one of the finalists did not have a fondness for eggs. All of our finalists spoke very eloquently, making it extremely difficult to decide the winners for each category.

In the Lower School, the competition was won by Nishka in 8C with Lilja in 7V claiming second place.

The Middle School competition was won by Caitlyn in 10T with Bethany in 10V taking the runner up spot.

Finally, the Upper School competition was won by Sophie in Nightingale 2 with Sathy in Austen 2 finishing in a close second.

Congratulations to our six finalists and to all of the other speakers who took part in the earlier heats. You were all extremely impressive once again!
