U15 Kent FA Football Tournament
Mr Homes sent this report:
On Friday, 10 November Invicta Girls took on Walderslade in the latest round of the Kent Cup. After pouring down with rain all day the sun decided to shine over the pitch which quickly enlightened a sense of pathetic fallacy.
After winning the first few rounds and building confidence, Invicta quickly attacked their opponents getting some good goals through Rosie and Jassy. Through balls in particular proved very effective against our opponents. The experience of playing the first few rounds helped Invicta through knowing how to play with each other with a lot more confidence, with them turning an almost clinical hand (or rather, foot) to the game as they played their best game of the tournament so far.
The second half went just as well with Zuzanna in Year 9 getting a goal through a corner, before Jassy got her second of the match, and 4th of the tournament so far.
Once again, a spectacular performance and the hope they can take this enthusiasm through to the next game. Well done Invicta!
